[RL with Azula]

Aradia sat down on the sofa and beamed at Azula, rummaging in her sylladex with one hand as she searched with her ouija fetch modus for her DVD. She was pretty sure she'd saved some of her collection, though much of it had been destroyed.

"It's nice to get a break from the game once in a while. Thanks for inviting me over, Azula."

Azula shrugged her unoccupied shoulder. She didn't really believe that Aradia would be able to do anything, but still, she supposed the offer was... nice, all the same. She gave the other girl's head an awkward little pat. "Thanks."

"... Do you have any more of those movies?"

Aradia beamed and straightened up, reaching out to run her hand through the air as if working an invisible ouija board. A moment later, another disk dropped into her hand. "The sequel! There are four in all."

"Do you want to watch another one?" Though she wasn't a film fan overall, Azula had to admit that these were at least somewhat entertaining and exciting.

"Of course!" Aradia said with clear enthusiasm. Then she paused and smiled at the other girl. "I mean, if you want to. You seemed to like the first one? And there's no beheadings in this one."

"Even better." She got up to put the disk in, handing the first one back to Aradia.

Aradia took the disk and dropped it into her sylladex, making it vanish. "You'd better show me one or two of the human action films, too," she said. "That was one of the big reasons we talked about getting together in the first place."

Azula went back over and sat down on the couch. "All right. After this." Though she had to admit that she was interested in watching the rest of the Troll Indiana Jones films eventually, too.

Truth be told, Aradia was torn. She loved watching her favourite movies with her moirail. At the same time, she was curious to learn what kind of movies Azula liked.

"Okay!" she said cheerfully. "I'm happy to stay all night, if that's what it takes."

"Lisa will come home, but I don't think she'd mind," Azula replied. "The bedrooms are separate from this living room area, and if the volume isn't too loud it wouldn't bother her or Rachel."

Aradia wrapped her arms around Azula and snuggled in comfortably. "Then that's what we'll do," she said. "I can't wait to meet your family, too."

"And tell me if I'm too hard and uncomfortable," she added, a bit more subdued.

"It's all right," she said cautiously. She wasn't really used to being hugged by most people, but she was rather fond of Aradia.

"Good," Aradia said cheerfully, and settled in to watch the movie.

Two movies in a row-- even two interesting ones-- was a lot for Azula, so about half way through she found herself dozing off every once in a while. Luckily, she was awake often enough that the plotline didn't completely lose her.

Aradia smiled as Azula began to doze off, stroking the other girl's soft hair as she continued to watch the movie. She didn't try to rouse her when the movie ended, switching off the television with the remote and sitting comfortably where she was. She didn't need to sleep, of course, but she was content.

About fifteen minutes after the end, she woke again. "... Did I miss the end? I'll have to watch it again sometime. Do you want to see a human movie now?"

Aradia giggled. "I can leave the disk with you if you want to watch it again," she said. "Are you sure you want to watch another movie? If you're sleepy, you can go to your 'coon. I don't mind."

"No, I'm fine. Movies just make me tired." Azula got up and went over to the shelf where Cuddy's DVDs were kept, pulling out Saving Private Ryan. "What's a coon?"

Aradia popped her DVD into the case and left it beside the television, so Azula could watch it later if she wanted. "A recooperacoon?" she clarified, frowning. "It's where trolls sleep. You don't use one?"

She shook her head. "We use beds."

"Oh beds! Of course," Aradia grinned, shrugging. "I guess humans don't need 'coons. Well, either way." She paused, anticipating Azula's next question. "Recooperacoons are pods filled with sorpor slime. The slime helps to protect us against violent dreams, because trolls do tend to have more than our fair share of those. It's good for keeping us balanced."

That made her pause in putting the DVD in the player. "Trolls know how to stop bad dreams? Does it work on humans?"

Aradia blinked. "I don't know. You could try it, if you want? I'm sure you could try out one of the 'coons at someone's hive." She smiled wryly. "I'd offer mine, but it was destroyed."

"And the rest weren't when your world was destroyed?" She was curious. Her nightmares came and went in terms of intensity, and right now she was in a period where they weren't all that bad... but still, it would be nice to get rid of them entirely, forever.

Aradia shook her head. "Everyone's hive and the area immediately around it was transported into the Medium along with them. Mine was already destroyed, so it just pulled in a bunch of rocks and a few holes in the ground. But everyone else still has their hive, though they tend to be filled with imps."

Azula considered. "Would just borrowing some of that sopor stuff work, do you think? I'm not sure if I really know any of the trolls well enough to ask to spend the night in their hive."
